I replaced the 2 belt driven bilge pump with 2 RULE 2000 GPH bilge pump with SWITCH.
The original Jabsco bilge pump 36600-0000 produce 8 GPM or 480 GPH
I have now 3040 GPH more of water removal .

There are also rebuild kits available for about $160.  Often you can take apart the pump, clean out the crud and reassemble and it will work fine.

Most Hylas have these Jabsco diaphragm pumps as second bilge pump, which goes off first when water is in the bilge.

They are still available:

But maybe yours is different?

I would try the Johnson spx flow f5b-19.

Hello all. Bilge pump #2 - the one on the float switch - has ceased to function (keeps tripping the breaker) and needs to be replaced. However, I'm told they no longer make that type of pump and a new pump would require some creative plumbing solutions. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks.
