Somebody Came

I recently replaced several of the marelon through hull fittings on Bacchus, H54 - 22.   I found Forespar 253 Series Marelon Mushroom fittings at Defender Marine.  They had a number of different sizes and were long enough to go through the hull.  Note these were above the waterline fittings, not below the water line.

Good Luck

I just replaced my 5/8 AC outlet in the transom from a cracked marlon to a bronze Groco.  Bought it at westmarine but they are available at Amazon.  They come in various lengths too. I think I step my AC hose up to 3/4 come to think of it.  You might need to do that too.

Thru hull fittings

Has anyone found a source for above the waterline thru hull fittings (preferably marelon or stainless). Specifically need one that will accept the 5/8 ID airconditioning discharge hose. The current hole in the hull is approximately 7/8 inch in diameter and the hull thickness is 1.5 inches. I haven't been able to find any thru hulls that have enough thread length to go thru the 1.5 inch hull and then accept a retaining nut. (approximately 2 inches of thread length needed). The fittings I've found that do have that much thread length also have a body that is larger in diameter than the current 7/8 inch hole.
Any advice is much appreciated.
