Yes, I replaced the teak transime steps and cockpit side steps on my 54.  I made templates and sent them to a place in Florida to make the panels.  I installed them myself and I'm very happy with the results. The cost was about $1500.  I made a thread here with some photos, try searching.

Just did the same thing on my Hylas 46.  I used Maritime Wood Products.  Very happy with the results.  But make no mistake, it's a job!  And make sure the templates are really good templates.  I used mylar and traced with a sharpie.  I still had to trim a little on a couple of them during install.

Jeff and Julie on Renegade did the stern steps in real teak.

My boat had Flexteak when we bought her. Holding up well but the installer needs a new career.

Has anyone replaced the teak aft steps and cockpit sole, seats and steps? How did it go? How much is it? Anyone used synthetic teak? If so, how is it holding up? Hylas 54 (#50)
