Flitz Ceramic Sealant

Has anyone ever tried using the Flitz Ceramic Sealant on stainless steel stanchions/rails etc or Awlgrip paint? As much as I enjoy polishing the stainless (not really) with Flitz polish, it would be nice to have a sealant that I would apply after polishing it that supposedly will keep it looking nice for a lot longer. I am also considering putting it on my hull (dark blue) awlgrip which is in terrible shape (about 12 years old). I have applied awlcare, by hand, and although it looks a lot better, there are some areas that still look like !@#$. I am concerned about how this product eventually "fails". Does it just wear off un-noticeably or does it noticeably "peel" off. If anyone has any experience with it I would love to hear your results/thoughts.
