Matching teak veneer in cabin H44

We had some wood veneer damage after hurricane Irma. We got a marine interior woodwork guy to come to the boat in Fort Lauderdale with his color swatches.  He replaced a few sheets and color match and grain  was exact.  I think it is just a case of getting hold of a good woodworker in your area and letting them do their thing.  Any fine furniture restorer should be able to match the colors and grain type.

We replaced the Formica in the galley.  Just removed the sink, sanded the Formica and went over it.  Our heads had acrylic tops.  Replaced with quartz tops and porcelin sinks.

I'll be curious to hear about the teak veneer.  No answer there.

Hi all,

Has anyone attempted to patch up rotted veneer in the cabin?  If so, where did you source it and how did you go about matching it?  I have several areas I want to replace.  Also, has anyone attempted to replace any of the Formica surfaces in the head or the galley?  Did you just overlay and cut with a router, or did you peel the old stuff and re-glue?

Lastly, how does one get in touch with Queen long?  I have attempted a couple of times, the contacts I seem to get are sales contacts who are stateside.
