G'day members. We have hull #028 H-46. I am starting to get a slight wobble/knock sound from aft cabin/head area. I know the cutlas is good at the last yard (2months ago) as cutlas was checked. No movement there.

It is my understanding the bearing just aft of the stuffing box is a flange bearing. Is it possible for this flange bearing to go bad when the cutlas bearing is good?
If this is so......my thinking is, the previous owner changed cutlass bearing without changing flange bearing and now the flange bearing is going south on me??
Having said that, has anyone changed this flange bearing? if so....do you have direction/hints for removal and replacement?
Thanks heaps!
