Hi Brian, according to Peter Grimm the sail is constructed with 1.5 oz nylon made by Contender Sailcloth. Peter said that is the best material for the purpose. Let us know if you have other questions. Best, Jill

Asymmetrical Spinnaker for H56 or H54 for sale

We have good news and bad news. The good news is that we are leaving on our long awaited circumnavigation in early 2023. This means we commissioned a new gennaker for the anticipated downwind sailing. The bad news is that we do not have a bottomless sail locker and must part with our lightly used Doyle G2 asymmetrical cruising spinnaker manufactured in 2014 for our Hylas 56.  Would work great with a H54 too! Dousing sock included and the color scheme is black, yellow and red.  Again, it is lightly used and was inspected in 2020 by the Doyle loft on City Island.  Asking $6,000 (US) or best offer.  All offers will be considered. The sail is currently onboard in Trinidad but can be delivered there in November or other locations between Trinidad and St Lucia as we make our way there for the start of our rally in February.  Please reach out if interested.  Contact info available through the member directory.
