Do you have a desk or shelves against the bulkhead?
I can not imagine this is a detail QL would overlook.

There is a narrow retaining shelf at the bottom and a slot above to hold the top of the washboard in place.

It is under the nav station desk, facing forward in front of where your knees would be when sitting down. Against the bulkhead I have the main electrical panel.

Any ideas on a 46 without the pass though at the nav?

I have an H46 with no pass through at the nav station. My washboard stows underneath the nav station desk.

Any suggestions on H44?
Do you have a little channel under the nav station about ankle high?  Mine slid into the channel.

Windswept is 46, #028 with a stand up nav station, pullman berth has drawers. We have been been stoweing in the cockpit to the left (on top) left of the sliding companionway hatch, laying semi flat. I have to say...this location is a PITA. Anyone with this setup have a better idea? Thanks Don

We also have that little Channel.  The hatch lifts up and sits in the bottom half neatly below the nav table.

Greetings,

Wondering where the best place is on a 46 to store the companionway hatch when under sail?
