With mixed emotions,  Bonnie and I are putting our Hylas 49 ("Black Diamond") up for sale.    We are looking for a new boat (seems every 10 years we like to change things up), and thought we would list our current boat now to get ahead of things.    Looking for a spring 2017 sale if possible.   Pictures below...

Basic Information:

2007 Hylas 49,  Hull #057 (Commissioned August 2007)  we are the only owner, having ordered it at the Annapolis show in 2005 and waited 20 months for delivery.   I have all the diagrams, plans and pictures of its construction,  having been to the factory in Taiwan while it was being built and participating in its commissioning.

Deck & Layout
Salon, portside cabin, bow cabin, salon and two head layout.  Aft head has separate shower compartment
Teak decks
Awlgrip hull (Super Jet Black) done by Allpaint in Bristol, RI after it arrived.  Multiple coats of primer, multiple coats of awlgrip.   Still looks great.
Stern Seats
All canvas redone in 2015 (Stone Grey Sunbrella bimini, dodger, pedestal cover, etc..) by Thurston Canvas in Bristol, RI.
New cockpit cushions this winter
Winter cover made by Thurston in Bristol, RI (heavy green Fairclough like cover with six vents and access door at stern)
4 fixed windows in hull (two in aft cabin, two in salon)

Rig & Sails
Cutter Rigged,  selden roller furling on both the 135% genoa and the staysail.
Leisurefurl roller furling boom
Both mast and boom are powder coated white
All sails are hydranet, with tri-radial cut, full battened, main and tri-radial cut genoa.  Made by Quantum Thurston in RI.
Cruising spinaker with turtle/dowsing sleeve made by Quantum Thurston in RI
Electric primary winches

CQR 65 anchor with 300' of chain for primary anchor
44KG Bruce anchor with 100' of chain and 200' of nylon rode for secondary anchor
Maxwell windlass with AA500C remote/chain counter in cockpit,  foot pedals on bow

Raymarine E120 at helm, E80 at Nav station, 4KW Radar
Autohelm with wireless remote and control at pedestal
ST60 graphic at Nav Station (displays all bus information) ,ST60+ Wind, Speed, Depth on bridge deck arch
JVC Stereo system with DVD player and ability to direct video to TV sets
Two flat screen TVs with salon TV on a lift to not block salon fixed window
AIS650 transponder (new in 2012) with separate VHF antenna
Glomex digital TV antenna
(no SSB or SSB antenna) - boat was largely used for coastal cruising and close-in trips

Yanmar 75HP Turbo Diesel,  Approximately 1100 hours on the engine, numerous spare parts and maintenance log.
House bank of 4 8D Lifeline AGM Batteries new in 2016
Bow thruster (SidePower 125)
Mamba steering system
Fischer Panda 8KW generator with approximately 100 hours on it.  spare parts kit.
Flex-o-Fold folding prop (new in 2012)
Air conditioning with reverse cycle heat (3 zones - aft cabin, salon, bow cabins)
Prosine 2.0 inverter/charger with Xantrex battery monitoring system
Tank Tender monitoring system (2 fuel tanks, 3 water tanks)
Vacuflush heads (2) with macerator and electric pumpout system
redundant bilge pump system with high water alarm
Oil change pump for engine, generator and transmission
