No, they did a delivery trip on a 54 as crew to get experience with the model, but think it is just a little too much boat for the two of them.
So they are looking for a 49

Friends in BC who have looked closely at the 46 (a little too small), did a delivery on a 54 (a little too large) have now seen the light and realized that a Hylas 49 would be the perfect boat for them.

 

Only problem is that the market for used 49’s is pretty thin.

 

If anyone has one in great condition or knows of one that might be coming up for sale they would really appreciate an email. They are prepared and experienced enough to look at a good one anywhere it might turn up.
