Oops!  Got cut off.  Anyway, he did not have the service manual and was not able to identify the parts based on photos and measurements.  As these parts are not made anymore, the only remedy for was to send the parts to the UK to have Lewmar fabricate them.  The shipping was twice as much as the parts.  I really hope this works and that I get the parts back in time for launch in 10 weeks!

Again,
Thank you for the help.

Thanks to everyone for the help.  I ended up getting ahold of a helpful tech in the Uk at Lewmar.  He walked me through the dis-assembly via email.  Even he didn

Thanks for the manual, Andy - this one makes more sense, given that the 46 is center cockpit, and the lever arm style is described as being for aft cockpit boats.

I think Lewmar bought Whitlock.  At least I've been able to source steering parts from Lewmar that fit.

I have H46 hull 32 and a Whitlock Steering pedestal. It is wire operated and not solid lever as shown on the drawings provided unfortunately. As to parts I am based in the UK and the company on the following link may be of service.

I haven't tried them myself. There are few outfits over here that specialise in buying up old stock and selling it on. Might be worth a look and a try.
