My 1990 Hylas 51 came with a charger, but no inverter. I am about embark on a complete rewire once I complete the 12 volt DC side, and would welcome any schematics or "lessons learned" from someone who has done something similar. To summarize, I have a single 125v/50 and a 125v/30 shore power input. This is a dated way of doing things, so I suspect I will change it to a 125/220/50 amp service and eliminate the 30 amp service. As it was set up, the air conditioning was on a dedicated circuit and i am not sure what the merit of that is at this point? I am installing an isolation transformer and then a Victron Quattro 5000/200.
I haven't sat down to compare the old schematic and complete a new one based on adding the inverter, but would welcome any input from other owners who did something similar.
Thanks
Shaun
